Infrastructure investments – Current trends in a challenging environment

Energy uncertainty, market volatility and geopolitical tensions – The challenges for investment funds, especially in the infrastructure sector, are currently enormous. The Infrastructure Investor Global Summit in Berlin brings together the whos`s who of global infrastructure investors and investment companies every year. High on the agenda this year were questions such as how to generate sustainable returns amid energy uncertainty, market volatility and geopolitical tensions, how to add value to infrastructure portfolios in an inflationary world, and the role of ESG and sustainability, as well as technological advancement, in infrastructure portfolios.
